The hotel is close to the Nagano station and is easily accessed by foot. The room was small, but comfy and it had everything I needed inside, like kettle, AC, hair dryer, etc. I really enjoyed the public bath here, the men's bath on the rooftop is actually very nice (don't know about the women's though). Also there's a machine with free drinks with a rich choice of coffee, tea and other soft drinks. The breakfast was okay, nothing special, but not a bad one. The staff were nice and helpful, they even agreed to keep my baggage for some time after I checked out so I could walk a bit more around the city.

One of the highlights is the rooftop outdoor onsen, which provides a relaxing experience with a stunning view. The lobby features a convenient vending machine offering free coffee, tea, and drinks. The breakfast may be simple, but it is hearty and satisfying. Above all, the standout feature is the exceptional service from the staff. They are incredibly helpful, and the restaurant team is outstanding as well. Kudos to the entire team for making the stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Bed was reasonably comfortable by Japanese standards. Little goodie basket of snacks dropped at my door in the morning. Sento/bath (for men) located on the roof, including an outdoor bath which was a great experience in the snow. I’m moderate-heavily tattooed and was advised it was fine for me to use it if it was quiet and there were too many people, but requested not to use it if it was busy. I used it a handful of times and didn’t ever get too busy. Approx 5 min walk from Nagano station, Lawson located across the street by walking through the undercover carpark
